At the heart of this creation is the exploration of the concealed and revealed female body. Many questions are asked in connection with the exposure of the female body. Where does the impending nude start? What does being covered in different cultures mean? Who is visible? What is visible and how does the invisible influence what the viewer thinks?
What ways are there to look at a body? Is it the material or machine body — the cultural body — the sexual body — the forgotten body? Absent and present are core concepts in this research. If a body is completely wrapped in cloth and you still have its silhouette, is it present or absent?
